Step to Add Header Image in WordPress Manually
 Go to your website WordPress dashboard and log in with your account.
 From the left panel, click on the Appearance menu.
 Choose Customize option under Appearance.
 Click on the Header section to edit.
 Now in the left panel, click on Add Image button.
 Choose the image from the media library or add new from your local storage.
 Click on Select to add the image to your Header section.
 Once added, the image will appear on your header section, and click on Save & Publish to make it live on your website.

How to Add Header Image in WordPress using a Plugin
There are several other plugins using which you can add a header on your WordPress website.
 Go to your WordPress dashboard.
 Click on Plugins from the left panel.
 Choose Add New from the expanded menu or on the top of the page.
 Search for the Unique Headers plugin in the search bar.
 Click on the Download icon to download and install the plugin.
 Once installed, Activate the plugin on your website.
 Once added, go to the Post section and click on Categories.
 In the Upload Header Image section, add the new header image from your PC or from the media library.
 Once added, save changes and the header will be added to your screen.
